Isn’t it how amazing how time flies by so fast each year?! Once again, Superbowl season is upon us. If you are planning to throw a Superbowl party this year, you want everything to go smoothly and you want your guests to feel as at home as possible. Last but not least, you want everybody to have fun! That said; without further ado, here are a few ways to get ready for the Superbowl party:
- Make grocery lists and check them twice. No party is ever complete without the right amount and type of snacks! Sit down and make a list of the types of dishes that you want to prepare and serve. Next, estimate how many guests you will be inviting and how much food you will need to serve. Then, make lists of what ingredients and items you need to pick up at the grocery. This will ensure that you don’t forget anything! Some great party munchies include corn dogs, hotdogs, burgers, French fries, Caesar salad, potato salad, tacos, nachos, burritos are all very popular party foods. Of course, don’t forget the beverages and desserts.
- Clean house. In order to make guests feel at home, you want to make your home presentable and a pleasure to be in. Dust off all the areas that need dusting and wipe down the surfaces that have accumulated grime, dirt and anything that’ll leave your home looking unsightly and untidy. If you are pressed for time and have the means to do so, hire a cleaning service to do the job. Cleaning services are very thorough and they will surely do a better job than you in a very short period of time!
- Prep the bathroom. Amidst the hustle and bustle, don’t forget to prep the bathroom for guests to use. Stock your powder room with soap, provide extra rolls of tissue in case of emergency, and light a nice candle to create a homey atmosphere even all the way to the bathroom. Put out some fresh towels as well for guests to wipe their hands on after washing.
